Week two class exercise

Step 1

The first one i did is PAVILION 21 MINI OPERA SPACE BY COOP HIMMELB,When i saw the picture, i thought this building is cool, Half of the flat, and half is generally projection,so i decided to do this..but  it is hard for me to make generally projection, i just clip somewhere to make it like the generally projection.

Step 2

The second one is pretty bad.It is Martin Luther Church by Coop Himmelb,it is a very beautiful building,but i do very bad .i just learn from the video, to make the paper wrinkle,than use finger to have line,however, i can't do like what he did.

Step 3

The third building i did is Town Town by Coop Himmelb, this building look like a hedgehog.When I use multiple papers to make this model, I felt a lot more free and easy to do it, some places are easy to show the details. It can actually allow me to make my model more creative than before. I can also look into one part of the model check and change it when ever I want, as my model is made of 3 parts. It can be modified. However, I felt with more paper I will spend more time on it, on the details of the model.

Week 1-Coop Himmelblau

I chose Coop Himmelblau Architects for learning this semester.I think his design make me feel like come to future world and i like this feel.His building using exaggerated curve，look like soft.I'm a fantasy person,I like things have interesting or pretty looking, that’s the main reason why I chose them for researching, I want to leaning more about their architecture specially in shape and form of building, look into details and take it as inspiration and use it in my design someday.

Studio Exercise 1: Comparative sketching

In my tutorial group (Group 1) we were given just a set of plans (including the roof plan). At first I thought it would be easy, but,after the teacher's guidance
and think by myself,i got a vague answers.So in the first picture,i just try to have a contour of the buildings,and i not sure the contour was right or not right, but whatever, i try to use floor plan to drawed the 3D picture of the buildings.Finally,i try to drawed more meticulous about the each building, but i got not much time.Our tutor, Vinh, helped us a lot in identifying detail and the leveling of the buildings.

In this exercise,i learned many thing about the plan of the building,feel cool!
